The Folsom Quilt and Fiber Guild Show 2023
I have been a proud member of the Folsom Quilt and Fiber Guild since 2000 (I think). I love my guild! We have a lot of talent in a diverse range of styles and techniques. We ARE a “Fiber Guild” also. As you will see below, we have hand embroiders, garment makers, knitters and some that defy categories. Over the years we have brought in many national teachers who have had a huge impact on me.
I had 40 min before the show closed to get my photos. I had literally just gotten off the plane (from teaching at the Indiana Heritage Quilt Show), dropped my stuff off at home, kissed Hubby and Bayley, and hurried to the show. I am so glad I made it!
As always, I probably missed some remarkable quilts in my haste. I do my best with my photos and take them into PhotoShop to resize and clean them up. If I have already posted a photo of a remarkable quilt in another post, I don’t post again. Also, I have several “For Display Only” quilts. These are quilts that fill in a gap in the show left by a quilt that did not make to delivery cutoff or somehow was not available for show.
It was a spectacular show. I know you will enjoy the photos:
Just so you know, I made lovely comments on each quilt that somehow are not showing up here, sigh. There was something about every quilt that drew me in. I hope you enjoyed our show!
I’ll be linking up with:
Nina-Marie’s Off the Wall Friday
and
Finished or Not Friday

You fit a lot of looking in that hour! It reminded me of a time I visited my daughter in Athens, OH and she remembered Quilt National was in town and we had an hour before it closed.
Jenny says
Ohhhhhh, Quilt National in an hour, that was a challenge! I’ve seen the show once and it was amazing. Lucky you!

Thanks for sharing your show, as usual, it looks like a spectacular show! I left on vacation the day it started, so I missed it this year.
Jenny says
Sorry you missed it but vacation is worth it! I missed being able to hang out for hours, sigh.
