Spring in NorCal

April 18, 2024

It’s been a week with not a lot to show, even though I’ve been quite busy. I’m planning a family trip to Denver this summer, working on the never-ending beaded piping, entering shows, booking contracts for 2025, finished a secret sewing project and catching up on admin stuff.

I decided to show off my yard instead of quilty stuff. This spring has been spectacular with plenty of rain and sunshine and NorCal is just dazzling this year! Except for the first photo of the street in front of my subdivision, these are all in my yard.

It’s all about color and texture. The colors this year are outrageous! Enjoy!

I’m helping my son move this weekend so I may not have a newsletter but I’ll be back next week with some quilty stuff!

I’ll be linking up with:

No wonder your quilting is exquisite, you are surrounded by beauty. Your yard is serious eye candy.

How do you find time to garden????

Oh, I have a service:-) I don’t mow, I do weed. I stacked the deck with mostly drought tolerant plants so it’s not that hard to maintain.

Oh I enjoy it! It is drought tolerant so that makes it a little lower maintenance.
