Clover Straight Tailor’s Awl

This awl is always at my side. Although this is designed for piercing holes, I use it most frequently to sweep my bobbin thread up from underneath my presser foot. I also use it when I absolutely need to hold that fabric in place when piecing or binding or to pierce the fabric to make a quick mark where I want to stop my line of stitching.
