Wishing I was in Houston…

Yes, I’m wishing I was in Houston right now. My first quilt to hang in the Houston International Quilt Festival is there and I’m not.

"Golden Moments"

It's there and I'm not!

So why am not there for this big moment? Let’s see, airfare, $500 because I’m late in the game, hotel, $500 for 3 nights, food and all those nasty incidentals, $150, and come on, vendors, $250-that’s $1400-at least! Hey, I’m proud to be in the show but that’s a little pricey. The event itself is huge with over 1800 quilts and 1000 vendors. I’m just glad to be a part of it, even if it’s from afar.
