NOTE: I wrote about my teaching and traveling experience at Branson here.
I got very little time on the show floor, but I did get a respectable number of photos. I will not include any of the Winner’s Circle quilts as the professional photos are so much better. So check out the top winners here. They were spectacular!
I am deliberately posting ribbonless quilts or quilts that were prize winners but their photos do not appear on the AQS site. As usual, just a few of my photos were too blurry to print. Also, I do not post photos of quilts that I have posted before. Especially in this show, there were many quilts that I saw (and posted) from the Houston show; there was a good bit of overlap there.
Here we go; first off, a few quilts from the SAQA exhibit – Haven:

Readers are Leaders; Clara Nartey

Writing the Next Word; Bobbi Baugh

Hillside Gems; Jan Soules

Holme Valley; Allison Jam
Now, quilts from the main show:

See the man in the suit in the background? This was a Winner’s Circle quilt but I included it here because I just adored how clever and unique this quilt was.
There you have it, my overview of a fabulous show!

Oh, my. The imagination, creativity, complexity! They are all wonderful.
The local quilt shows are really important and need to be advertised more so that as we progress in our adventure with in quilting can also be displayed and enjoyed be others.
Encouragement to jump into quilting starts with less complexity.
Thank you for your perspective and comment. I LOVE local quilt shows and attend all that I can and post photos from them. I remember when I first started going to shows; I went to my local guild’s show, a very skilled guild. I was astonished and overwhelmed and I remember how much I enjoyed the “normal” quilts as the show stoppers.
Thank you, Jenny. You do so much work for us to enjoy. I really appreciate it!
You are so welcome!
Thank you very much Jenny 🥰🥰🥰♥️
You’re welcome Carmen!
Your eye for which quilts to share in your post is excellent. I do detect an interest in pieces with intricate quilting and piecing. Such a treat to view the show without needing to travel.
How interesting, I never observed that about myself! Glad you enjoy it Gwyned!
Stunning…every single one! Thank you for sharing the show. So many ideas swirling in my brain…
Oh good; Now go act on that inspiration!
Thank you for all the glorious photos. It sure brings out the “how did they do that?” for some of them! So many different quilt styles. Wonderful quilting too!
It was a great show Kathy! It was my pleasure to share.
